'DCU' DOSING SCREWS

Designed for high precision dosing of flour products. The available accessories ensure its use even with products that do not flow and/or are not easily compactable. The machines are available in carbon varnished steel, powder-coated and certified for food contact, or in stainless steel AISI 304 or 316. The dosing accuracy is guaranteed to be not less than ± 60 % of the weight of the product displaced by one revolution of the extraction loop. Flanged transport tube also available with inspection hatches for periodic internal cleaning. Discharge equipped with butterfly valve controlled by an electropneumatic actuator.
Extraction and transport spiral with progressive shape, diameter and pitch adapted to the nature of the product and the quantity to be dosed. 
Double spiral at discharge to minimize the "pulsating" effect and improve the dosing accuracy. End supports designed to prevent avoid possible leaks of lubricant inside the screw; the seals are guaranteed by rings for rotary shafts UNI 9825.
For lengths of more than 3 metres, the machine is equipped with intermediate supports made of non-toxic self-lubricating material. The intermediate supports are accessible from the outside through an inspection hatch.
Control by primary brand gear motor lubricated with non-toxic oil.
The motorization is normally direct with the interposition of a self-aligning coupling. On request, separate motors with chain drive equipped with automatic tensioning system are available.
